Distance Covered: 14 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

We had a relaxing start in the morning seeing our son and his girlfriend off on their holidays to Rome - hope it's not too hot! Then lunch in the garden before making a flask and setting off on our bikes. Starting off along the busy prom to the right and turning off towards the very busy dock - lorries everywhere. We crossed the railway lines ending up at Trimley marshes with lots of boats on the River Orwell including two old barges. We had a look in a couple of birdhides with the highlight being several Bar tail godwits:) We had our cuppa watching the boats before heading to Levington turning off at Loompit lake where we saw loads of deer. Instead of ending the tree lined paths we stayed on the roads coming out at Trimley and down past the dirt bike track to cherry lane where we stopped to pick some yummy cherries:) I continued to the seafront while Mag went home to put the tea on. A nice 14 mile ride in lovely Suffolk :)
